t-bone steak, cheese, eggs and welch's grape
my manager and i basically kicked ass on the last project we worked on, and we made a good sized profit on it (although some of that was due to an inflated budget). as a reward, our office manager offered us dinner at ruth's chris (fancy steak house) or a free day off. i would have preferred the day off, but my manager got the final say and chose the dinner. since we're both losers, it'll probably be just the two of us, but he said dates would be welcome, if we could find them (hmm ... maybe culture shock girl will call back ... how's that for a first date).
anyway, i wanted your opinion on the matter. dinner (for you and a date) at ruth's chris or a day off (of your choosing)? let me know ... i'm curious to see what everyone else thinks. for you veggies, pretend it's a nice vegetarian restaurant and not a steak house.

i'd take the day off! work sux... well, at least mine does. only thing keeping me there are the hours!
day off FOR SURE. nice steak dinner is definitely a treat, and thought ruth's chris is good, it's not ALL THAT. day off, you could sleep, play, take a long weekend. well, take advantage of the dinner. order an expensive bottle of wine. and MOST importantly...find a date!
to make things better, it's the two year anniversary of my hire date today, and i'm getting a free lunch out of it.
